Just Look at This Patina!!!..

I stumbled apon this picture ont tPF, and OMG! Just look at how LoVely that DARK patina is on the handles!, normally I would think dark patina is disgusting, but thats when all of the vachetta is black. The fact that only the handles are dark, every other piece of leather is honey and the canvas is still in soft shiny condition makes me want my speedy to look like that!

I WILL HAVE THIS BAG....

This bag has been around since February 1st, 2008.. AND I STILL DONT HAVE IT!.. I guess I never really paid too much attention to it because I allways buy LE (limited edition) bags. Well, here lately I have been debating apon a Neverfull and Speedy 30 and just could not figure out what which was more practical and worth the price (kind-of on a tight budget)... And then, while pondering in ThePurseForum, I found the Montorgueil club... OMG! This is absolutely perfect for me! I want/need a shoulder bag but I also need it with a zipper so all my shiz doesnt fall out.. Here is a picture of the PM size (the perfect one for me).. I guarantee you, within the next month or so, I WILL HAVE THIS BAG... And of course I will put up pictures too.. enjoy.

How to spot a fake Louis Vuitton..#2

Here is some more much needed info..

1. On Speedy 25 the date code should be on the left leather tab underneathe the flap pocket, while the 30cm, will have the date code on the right leather tab

2. In speedies, the leather on the pocket should not have anything stamped on it. It should be very thin and plain.

3. Neverfulls should have very thin straps (around 1 to 1 1/2 centimeters wide)

4. On monogram Speedies from the late 80's to present, should have five even stitches accross the leather handle tabs, while damier speedies should have six.

5. On Speedies, the leather end tabs should have four even and perfect stitches on each side of each one. (not always true for vintage speedies)
