How to spot a fake Louis Vuitton..#2

Here is some more much needed info..

1. On Speedy 25 the date code should be on the left leather tab underneathe the flap pocket, while the 30cm, will have the date code on the right leather tab

2. In speedies, the leather on the pocket should not have anything stamped on it. It should be very thin and plain.

3. Neverfulls should have very thin straps (around 1 to 1 1/2 centimeters wide)

4. On monogram Speedies from the late 80's to present, should have five even stitches accross the leather handle tabs, while damier speedies should have six.

5. On Speedies, the leather end tabs should have four even and perfect stitches on each side of each one. (not always true for vintage speedies)

How to spot a fake Louis Vuitton..

Okay, here are just a few quickies..
1. On Multicolore items-There should never be any red LV logos on the bag (ever)
On white MC bags, the black logo should always have a rasberry/burgundy colored floret to the diagonal right of it, and on black MC bags, the white should have this feature.

2. Speedies should NEVER have feet on the bottom, (excludes Limited Edition Speedies)

3. NO authentic Louis Vuitton bag will EVER come with an authenticity card.

Im not really a camouflage fan, but when this baby was released.. I just had to snatch it up! Somehow, I feel like its a "classy" bag.. and besides.. what is class anyway?..
